About Our Orthodontic Practice

Dr. Albert Johnson's practice philosophy is to provide the finest
Orthodontic treatment possible in a friendly, caring manner in an
atmosphere that is committed to excellence in service and
dedicated to the total well-being of patients and staff. Our goal is
to combine efforts towards the healthiest smile possible for
each individual. An emphasis is placed on providing the patient
with knowledge to maintain healthy teeth and supporting tissue
for a lifetime. We believe that a healthy smile is essential to a
healthy lifestyle. This personalized smile creates a feeling of
self-confidence and social acceptance - the greatest
accomplishment for all.

Dr. Johnson's office team is dedicated to providing the most
convenient, pleasant office experience for our patients and their
families. We take great pride in professional capability and we

Orthodontic care.

Dr. Albert W. Johnson received his B.S. Degree at St. Joseph's
College in Rensselaer, Indiana. He attended Loyola Dental
School in Chicago, Illinois where he attained honors each
semester and graduated in 1971 as Valedictorian. For his
scholastic achievements, Dr. Johnson was elected to the Blue
Key and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Societies. In addition,
the department of Fixed Prosthetics presented him the clinical
excellence award for his achievements in full-mouth
reconstruction.

In 1973, Dr. Johnson received his Orthodontic specialty
certification and entered private practice. He continued his
affiliation with Loyola Dental School as clinical professor in Oral
Diagnosis and later taught in the graduate Orthodontic
Department.

In 1985, Dr. Johnson achieved recognition as Diplomate of the
American Board of Orthodontics. This certification is an
achievement beyond the post-doctoral training of an
orthodontist. It requires completion of study and in-depth testing
in every discipline required in Orthodontic and Dentofacial
Orthopedic Treatment.

In 1988, Dr. Johnson initiated an annual golf outing to create an
ongoing fund for college scholarships to benefit Glenview area
youth who are outstanding in community service. This fund has
assisted many local youths to achieve higher education.
Consequently, he was given the "Man of the Year" award and the
Optimist Club "FOY" (Friend of Youth) Award in 1990. Dr.
Johnson has also been named "Optimist of the Year" several
times and was awarded a "Lifetime Member" status.
